It is true that some vegetables, such as cabbage, spinach, and other green vegetables, contain iron. However, not all of the iron contained in it will be very easily absorbed by the body. To resolve it, according to the World Health Organization, consuming the meat can help balance or increase the amount of iron absorbed. According to the National Institutes of Health, the sources of iron in meat can be obtained from beef, pork, poultry, fish, Turkey, clams, and oysters.
